Our partners at Ramula

A big welcome to Mr Humphrey Juma Madialo who has just taken up the post of Principal Teacher at Ramula. He is ably supported by Emelda Juma (Accounts Clerk) who has consistently communicated with us particularly regarding student receipts. Her help has been invaluable and very much appreciated. The final member of the group is Calvince Omondi Odhiambo who is the Director of Studies and since Jake's last visit, Calvince has taken over the responsibility for feeding back all important aspects of our students' performance and progress. This has led to an immediate improvement in our appreciation of the partnership that we have with this very impressive school and its teachers.

Both Humphrey and Emelda are from Siaya County originally which is near the Ugandan Border. Humphrey is a father and family man who loves teaching and enjoys volleyball. Emelda has 2 children and she is more of a netballer. Her religion is very important to her. Calvince is from Homa Bay County which is a bit nearer to Ramula. Homa Bay has some excellent views of Lake Victoria. Calvince is a dedicated teacher with 2 children and he loves his football. He supports one of the top 2 Nairobi teams - Gor Mayia...great rivals of AFC Leopards. He also supports Arsenal...well somebody has to!!
